Case Converter

Convert text to UPPER, lower, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, snake_case or kebab-case, with correct Turkish İ and ı.

Change text case in one click

Paste text, pick a style, and copy the result. Use Title Case or Sentence case for headings and title tags, UPPER and lower case to fix text typed with Caps Lock on, and the code styles for variable names, CSS classes, file names and URL parts.

Most converters get Turkish wrong, because the default rules turn “i” into “I”. Switch on Turkish casing and the dotted and dotless i's convert correctly. Conversion happens in your browser.

Title Case or Sentence case for headings?

  • Sentence case reads more naturally and is what most product and news sites use today.
  • Title Case is common in English book titles, US publications and some brands' style guides.
  • Pick one for your site and use it everywhere, including title tags and H1s.

Frequently asked questions

Which words stay lower case in Title Case?
Articles, short conjunctions and prepositions (a, an, the, and, or, of, in, on, to, with and similar), unless they are the first or last word or come after a colon. Words that already mix capitals, like iPhone or NASA, keep their spelling, unless the whole text is in capitals.
What do the Turkish casing rules change?
Turkish has two letter i's. With the option on, “i” becomes “İ” and “ı” becomes “I” in upper case, and the reverse in lower case, so “istanbul” becomes “İSTANBUL” rather than “ISTANBUL”. Title Case then also keeps Turkish small words like “ve”, “ile” and “için” in lower case.
How do camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case handle my text?
Each line becomes one identifier. The text is split into words at spaces, punctuation and existing case changes (so “parseHTMLString” is read as parse, HTML, string), then joined in the chosen style. Letters with accents are kept as they are.
