Page audit
One page, four categories, a score you can explain.
- A 0–100 score, weighted by importance: high counts three times as much as low
- Scores per category, so you know where the points went
- Copy the affected URLs, or print the report as a PDF

Site audit
Crawl the site the way a search engine would.
- Starts at the homepage and the sitemaps listed in robots.txt
- Runs the page checks on every crawled page, too
- Filter the pages, open any one for its checks, export issues and pages as CSV

Changes
The second audit is where it gets useful.
What changed on the page
Audit a page again and the report marks each check that changed since the last audit, such as a canonical that now points elsewhere or a description that disappeared.
What changed across the site
A new crawl of the same site is compared issue by issue and URL by URL with the previous one, biggest changes first.
Into the weekly list
With Search Console connected, failing checks on pages that get search traffic join This week, ranked by those pages’ clicks.
Core Web Vitals
Real-user speed data next to the audit.
From PageSpeed Insights
Run a test from any page audit report. Google loads the page on a phone and on a desktop, which takes about a minute, and the result is kept for the day.
Field data, when Google has it
LCP, INP and CLS from the Chrome UX Report: the 75th percentile of real Chrome users over 28 days, for the page or else its whole site. Pages without enough Chrome traffic have none, and the report says so.
Lab data, always
The Lighthouse performance score, its metrics (including Total Blocking Time and Speed Index) and the opportunities Lighthouse lists to make the page faster.
How it crawls
Polite by default.
Identifies itself
Requests come from SemhackBot, with a link to a page that explains what it does and how to block it.
Follows robots.txt
Site audits skip URLs that robots.txt blocks (and list them, so you can see what was left out), and honor a crawl-delay of up to 10 seconds.
Gentle on servers
A few requests at a time, one when a crawl-delay is set. Crawls run in the background and pick up where they left off if interrupted.
Honest limits
What it doesn’t do
- It reads the HTML your server sends. Content that only appears after JavaScript runs isn’t crawled or checked.
- The audit’s load time is the time to receive the HTML. Browser measurements such as Largest Contentful Paint come from the separate PageSpeed Insights test, which depends on Google’s quota and can be slow to come back when it’s busy.
- How many pages a crawl covers depends on your plan. See pricing.
- It finds and explains problems; it never changes anything on your site.
