Explorer and keywords

All of a client’s Search Console data, without the export dance.

This week picks out what needs you. When you want to look around yourself, each client has a Pages and a Queries explorer, and a list of the keywords you chose to follow.

Pages and queries

Every page and query, with the change next to it.

Open a page to see the queries it showed up for and its latest audit. Open a query to see which of the client’s pages rank for it. The numbers are the same Search Console data the weekly list uses, already imported, so nothing waits on Google.
  • The last 7 days, 28 days or 3 months, against the period before or the same weeks a year earlier
  • Clicks, impressions, CTR and average position, each with its change
  • Quick filters: losing clicks, positions 4–20, low CTR, and new
  • Search, sort by any column, and export up to 10,000 rows as CSV

Keyword tracking

Follow the queries that matter to the client.

  • Add them your way

Paste a list (up to 200 at a time) or track a query straight from the explorer. Up to 500 per client.

  • Week over week

Average position, clicks and impressions for the last 7 or 28 days against the period before. A move of 3 places or more counts as a move, when the query had at least 10 impressions.

  • All clients in one list

Keywords shows every tracked query across your clients, sortable by movement, position, clicks or client, with a history for each one.

  • Alerts when they move

A tracked keyword that moves 3 or more places week over week, or loses all its impressions, raises an alert in the app and by email.

  • Which pages rank

Each keyword shows the client’s pages that showed up for it, so a switch from one page to another is easy to spot.

  • Low CTR, explained

“Low CTR” means a top-10 position with at least 100 impressions, clicked less than half as often as is typical there.

Honest limits

What it doesn’t do

  • It’s not a rank tracker. Positions are Search Console’s average positions for the client’s own site, not live checks of Google, and there’s no daily rank for a single location or device.
  • Only queries the site already appears for have data. There’s no keyword research, search volume or competitor rankings.
  • Year-over-year comparisons need a year of data. A new client starts with 100 days of history, so that option appears once enough has built up.
  • Search Console’s own limits apply: a few days’ delay, and rare queries hidden for privacy.

How actions are found and ranked is on the Search Console page.
