QR Code Generator
Create QR codes for URLs, text and Wi-Fi networks. Pick size, colors and error correction, then download PNG or SVG.
Tip: add UTM parameters so scans show up as their own source in analytics.
Error correction
Recovers ~15%. A good default.
Generating…
Static code: the content is stored in the image itself, so it never expires and doesn't track scans.
QR codes that just work
Enter a URL, any text or your Wi-Fi details and the code updates instantly. Download a PNG for documents and social posts, or an SVG that stays sharp at any size for print.
These are static QR codes: the content is encoded in the image itself. They never expire, need no account and don't route scans through a tracking server. To measure scans, add UTM parameters to your URL so visits show up as their own source in Google Analytics.
Getting reliable scans
- Keep strong contrast: dark modules on a light background scan best.
- Leave a quiet zone (margin) of at least 2 modules around the code.
- Use error correction H if you'll place a logo over the center.
- Shorter content makes a simpler code that scans from further away.
Frequently asked questions
- Do these QR codes expire?
- No. A static QR code contains the data itself, so it works for as long as the link or text in it is valid.
- Can I track how many people scanned it?
- The code itself can't count scans. Add UTM parameters (for example utm_source=qr&utm_medium=offline) to the URL and your analytics will show the visits that came from it.
- Which format should I download?
- SVG for print and design tools, since it scales without blurring. PNG for places that only accept images, such as slides or messaging apps.
