How the result is decided

  • PassLowercase path, no underscores, no query string, at most 100 characters and at most 4 path segments.
  • WarningAny one of those isn’t true. The report lists which.

Why it matters

Short, readable URLs are easier to share, show up in search results and make the site structure clear. Mixed case and parameters can also create duplicate URLs for the same page.

How to fix it

For new pages, use short lowercase slugs with hyphens, like /pricing/small-teams. Changing existing URLs costs a redirect and some time for search engines to catch up, so only do it when the gain is clear, and always 301-redirect the old URL.

After the fix, open the page’s report and choose Run again to confirm it passes.
