How the result is decided

  • PassThe title or description contains at least one of the top 10 words.
  • WarningNeither the title nor the description uses any of them.
  • InfoFewer than 50 candidate words on the page, so there isn’t enough text to judge.

“Info” results don’t count toward the score.

Why it matters

When the title and description describe the same topic as the text, search engines and searchers see a consistent page. A mismatch often means the title targets one thing and the content another.

How to fix it

Look at the top words listed in the report. If they describe the page well, work the main one into the title and description. If they don’t, the body text may be off-topic, and that is worth fixing first.

After the fix, open the page’s report and choose Run again to confirm it passes.
