Search Console and the weekly list

“Did it work?”, explained

How Semhack measures a fix: the page’s clicks in the 28 days after it was marked done, against the 28 days before.

When you mark an action with a page as done, Semhack remembers the day. Once Search Console has 28 full days of data after it, it compares the page’s clicks in those 28 days with the 28 days before the fix.

  • A change within ±3% reads “No change”.
  • Above that, it shows the change as a percentage, in green or red.
  • If the page had no clicks before and some after, it shows the number of new clicks.

Because Search Console data arrives a few days late, a result appears a little more than 28 days after the fix. This week shows the latest results, and the “Fixes that worked” tile counts how many went up.

This shows what happened to clicks, not why. Seasonality, other changes on the site and Google updates in the same weeks all count too. Treat it as a signal, not proof.
