How the result is decided

  • PassStructured data is present and every JSON-LD block parses.
  • WarningNo structured data at all.
  • FailA JSON-LD block has a JSON syntax error, so search engines ignore it.

Why it matters

Structured data helps search engines understand what the page is (an organization, product, article, FAQ…) and can make it eligible for rich results.

How to fix it

Add JSON-LD that matches the page’s content, then validate it with Google’s Rich Results Test. Semhack checks the syntax, not whether Google will show a rich result.

Example
<script type="application/ld+json">
{"@context": "https://schema.org", "@type": "Organization", "name": "Northwind", "url": "https://www.example.com"}
</script>

After the fix, open the page’s report and choose Run again to confirm it passes.

About audits

  • How the audit score worksThe 0–100 score is a weighted average of the checks: importance sets the weight, the result sets the credit.
  • Running a page auditWhat Semhack fetches when it audits a URL, what the report shows and the limits that apply.
