AI drafts (optional)
Opt-in Claude drafts for fixes, titles and brief summaries: what they do, what is sent and how the budget works.
AI drafts are off by default. An owner or admin can turn them on in Settings → AI drafts. They need the server to be set up with an Anthropic API key; until then they can’t be turned on and nothing is sent anywhere.
What they do
- Suggest a fix: concrete steps for a failing or warning check on an audited page, using what the audit saw (for example the Server header, to tailor the steps to your web server).
- Rewrite title and description: options for a page’s title and meta description with their length, using its headings and, for Search Console clients, its top queries.
- Draft a summary: a summary paragraph for a client brief.
Every result is a draft that you copy or accept. Nothing is ever applied to a website or sent to a client automatically. Each draft shows exactly what data it used.
Budget and data
- Each workspace has a monthly token budget, set by owners and admins. Requests stop when the next one could go over it, and the budget resets on the 1st (UTC).
- Drafts are saved, so asking again for the same page, check and report doesn’t cost twice.
- Only what a draft needs is sent, and only when someone clicks. Google tokens, passwords, your team’s emails and anything that looks like an API key are never sent. The AI settings page lists exactly what each feature sends.
